I am the President of Destino Ministry at California State University, Long Beach. Although we are the fastest growing ministry, we boast not in that, but in Christ. We do boast that we love Him deeply.
This is my personal blog. It is focused on being a maker - one who makes things happen. My belief is that if you are actually a Christian, you can and should aim to make history, to change the way things are, to invade the world with the Love we have inherited. '
History is changed everyday, on the streets, on our conversations, on our classrooms, we don't have to be on the books to be history makers. All we need is the backing of a big God, and big He is.
However, this blog is not only for Christians. No matter your ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation, status, or health, I want to talk to you. I want to meet you. That's why I am here. Nothing would break my soul more than knowing I am only talking to Christians. If you ever feel left out, please write me, I'll do my best to correct my error.
My goal is two-fold: First is to talk to you whom I disagree with on many things and to learn how to love you. I must tell you I am pretty messed up, but I want to change that, and if you don't mind, I could use some help. Second is to encourage anyone out there, Christian or not, to live a life of integrity and excellence that reflects the life of whom I believe to be the Savior of the World. I will write on sanctification, conversations with God, leadership, God's nature, and ocassionally stuff that doesn't fit under any of those categories.
If you are one of those young men or women who are not comformed with the status quo, then I promise you, I got something for you. You can take advantages of some of the ideas shared in this blog.
BIOGRAPHY:
I have made my rounds in leadership, from co-founding and leading a blog for men with over 3,000 visitors per month (no one boasts about that now adays), to leadership positions in college clubs, to now, my highest honor as leader of a ministry, God's ministry. I was born in Lima, Peru, 1989. In 2003, I came to the United States, and loving it all the way to now. Currently reside in California, attend Cal State University, Long Beach studying Business Administration. I am single and currently living with roommates.
This sums me up: child of God, child of parents, family man, ministry leader, college student, friend. All of these in order.
